it’s friday, february 13, moon is in sagittarius, in the starspace called pūrvāsāḍḥa, it’s the twelfth phase of the waning moon & venus’ day.
sagittarius is ruled by big-guy-in-the-sky jupiter, who expands our perspective (& sometimes our waistlines!), helps us zoom out, look at life through a macro lens. sag is opposite gemini, where we zoom in, look at life through a micro lens. sag gives us faith in something bigger than us, gemini the facts that defend or refute it.
jupiter happens to be dwelling in gemini these days, trying to get his facts straight. fortunately, gemini doesn’t redact info, plays fair, lets the facts speak for themselves.
when the facts prove your beliefs wrong (“the world works this way”), do you equivocate, make excuses, throw shade on the messenger or a tantrum like pam bondi did before congress the other day, go all relativist (“good & evil are not binary”) & spiritually bypass, or do you put on your big girl panties or big boy boxers, own your wrong-thinking & adjust your paradigm accordingly?
pūrvāsāḍḥa means “early” (pūrva) “victory” (āsāḍḥa) & is ruled by apas, mysterious & primordial water goddesses associated with motherhood, fertility, with the waters that cause the earth to bring forth its abundance, that nurture, as a mother’s body does, a seed of life. this nakshatra has an air of invincibility, invites us to take a leap of faith & “just do it,” b/c, hey, we can’t fail. it gives us the ability to bide our time, play the long game, but/& make sure we’re not being delusional, lest we don’t learn lessons from our mistakes.
what is percolating in your mysterious dark? what secret hope is dying to be germinated & nurtured into full-blown life?
the twelfth lunar day (tithi), the twelfth phase of the waning moon, has the quality of wealth/prosperity & is said to be one of the most pleasant & conflict-free tithis. it brings the answers to our prayers if we prayed hard enough yesterday, which is one way of feeling wealthy, no? did you pray? what did you pray for?
friday is ruled by venus, who is associated with love & relationships.
“the experience of love is not, as such, an emotion that one person feels toward another; it is the absence of otherness or separation. it is the collapse of self & other.”—rupert spira
btw: pūrvāsāḍḥa + the twelfth tithi + friday are an auspicious yoga (combo) that produces amrita, nectar-like blessings. it is said that any action performed while this yoga is at play will produce benefits. how will you use this energy?
& that’s your daily bliss! which is a sort of lunar weather report. may it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss.
