it’s wednesday, september 11, & moon is in the starspace called dhanishtha, which straddles the signs of capricorn & aquarius, harmonizing those two energies: capricorn’s self-reflection about what is or isn’t working in our immediate environment gets turned outward in aquarius, where we focus on making a positive influence on the world at large (or at least larger than the world of ourselves). aquarian energy is about sharing our gifts with the world to make it a better place not for self-aggrandizement but b/c we’ve just got too darn much good stuff to keep to ourselves.
dhanishtha means completely (ishtha) wealthy (dhan), as in wealthy in body, mind & spirit. this asterism is ruled by the eight vasudevas, who shine (vas), who bring the light & invite us to dwell (vasu) in their light, in their shining; they illuminate our world & bring wealth b/c they are the elemental forces (water, moon, wind, etc) that inform all that manifests, that we can manifest, in the material world. sage parashara said that the vasudevas originated from the light (jyoti) or are the source of jyotish, aka vedic astrology, which is why it is called the science of light. may you dwell in & radiate out the light!
so a great good day to manifest, to give your right brain free rein & see what it comes up with. but remember that when we create something just to make $, it doesn’t always go so well, especially when we just want more $ to, say, purchase new, bigger, better toys. now, if we want to make more $ so that we can give more away, that’s a whole other story, a very aquarian story.

wednesday is ruled by mercury, who has just moved into earthy virgo, where he will be sooooooo much happier than he was in fiery leo, so communication should improve, our words should no longer have flames (or sparks!) shooting off them.
