it’s tuesday, september 14, & moon is in sagittarius, in the starspace called mula. sagittarius vibrates with the frequency of hope & optimism by connecting us to a belief system, a way of seeing the world that makes sense of our existence. but just b/c we believe something doesn’t mean it’s true. like some people believe getting vaccinated right now is not only in their best interests but in the best interests of everyone else; others believe that it is actually the opposite, that the vaccine does minimal good & a lot of harm, & that it is responsible for making the virus stronger & mutating. can we all have & share our opinions, our beliefs, without making the other wrong?
mula means “root” & brings the lesson of digging deep & yanking out by the roots what doesn’t serve us. that might mean some of the gnarly thoughts & emotions we were pummeled by when moon was in scorpio the past couple of days—any beliefs that don’t allow us to align with our highest purpose, that no longer feel true or meaningful or helpful. if you need help letting go, ruling deity niritti, a super-fierce form of kali, will gladly lend a hand. the deities represent our own shakti, our own superpowers. what needs to go? what are you ready to release? are you ready to access your superpowers?
it’s the ninth lunar day, the ninth phase of the waxing moon, which, like mula, supports destroying what doesn’t serve, getting rid of stuff. it is related to the energy of serpents, who can slither into the darkest hidey holes of our psyche to find gunk we didn’t even know was there. it’s a great good day to clean our physical &/or metaphysical house!
mars infuses tuesday with its special sauce of courage to fight the good fight. the good fight, the best fight, means fighting our own inner demons, our own limiting beliefs, or fighting for a social cause. it means overcoming our own weaknesses, like getting frustrated with a situation & blaming others rather than taking personal responsibility. it’s easier to point a finger, but remember, when you point a finger at someone else, three fingers point back at you.
& that’s your daily bliss! which is a kind of lunar weather report. may it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss. may it inspire you to enlighten up a little more each day.
