it’s friday, september 15, & moon is in virgo, in the starspace called uttaraphalguni, where it was new last night. while leo vibrates with the frequency of our sovereign power over our realm, virgo vibrates with the frequency of the behind-the-scenes activity that maintains our realm, of all the boring (unless you are, of course, a virgo, who loves this shit) to-do’s that need doing so our realm doesn’t fall apart. if leo is the macro, virgo is the micro. leo is strutting our stuff on the stage of life, virgo is getting down on our hands & knees with a magnifying glass & scrubbing the star’s bathroom floor. virgo loves details, but/& virgo can also pay so much attention to the details as to lose perspective on the big picture, can get lost in the minutiae, not be able to put that magnifying glass down & move on to the next chore until every speck of grime has been excised. yes, it’s awesome to have high standards, for perfection to be the goal, but it’s also awesome to know when enough is enough. “good enough” is not a phrase that resonates with virgo.

since we’re going to be in the virgo energy until midday sunday, & virgo’s ruler, mercury, just started moving forward after his retrograde vacation, let’s take advantage of the best of virgo & get our life chores done & let go of worst of virgo by doing our best & letting god do the rest.
uttaraphalguni (see yesterday’s post for all!) brings a lesson about making sure all of our contracts have been made on the basis of what’s loving for all. remember: what’s loving for “me” is loving for “them.”
it’s the first lunar day, the first phase of the waxing moon, so we’re just beginning to feel the seeds of our new moon intention being stimulated to sprout & grow. does that feel exciting?
friday is ruled by venus, planet of our earthly delights, sensual pleasures, our embodied human experience. what or who brings delight to your sense of taste, touch, sight, hearing, smell? it’s a good day to indulge in & in-joy whatever does with whomever does. how can you feel into venusian juiciness today?
