daily blissit’s tuesday, september 17, & moon, which has started another journey around the zodiac, is in the starspace called ashwini, which is in aries, the first sign of the natural zodiac. aries is a sign of action, energy & enthusiasm. aries loves to start things, but then has a propensity to lose interest in other stuff that was started & maybe not bring those projects to completion. symbolized by a ram, that head-down, head-butter, aries also has a tendency to forge ahead without thinking things all the way through. oh, it’s a busy day, b/c sun started making egress into virgo just after midnight last night: when the sun changes signs, he takes a while to feel settled, & since the sun is our soul(ar) power, we’re not settled either, not operating fully charged, which means those action steps we want to take? maybe not such a great idea. i mean, do what you have to do, but if things don’t go as planned, don’t say i didn’t warn you! at least think twice … & maybe three times about your intention & whether your action is really going to serve it.

ashwini is ruled by the ashwini kumara, twin sons born to surya (the sun) & his wife, sanjana. long story short: sun was so hot, sanjana couldn’t stand to live with him anymore, so she went off to the forest & turned herself into a mare so she’d be safe. surya realized (eventually!) that she was gone & went looking for her. he transformed himself into a horse to be with her, they did what beings do who are in love & want to express their love physically, & the fruit of their renewed love, their twins, were born as horses. moral of the story: true love cannot be repressed & love overcomes all. how is that working in your life? are you tapping into the wellspring of your love to overcome your challenges? are you connecting as deeply as possible through your heart with others?

it’s the fourth lunar day, which means you may have some obstacles to overcome—good thing you can channel the energy of ashwini & do so with heart!
