daily blissit’s sunday, september 1, & moon is in the starspace of virgo called hasta. virgo energy is about organizing the kingdom we established/owned/recognized/took responsibility for in leo. kingdoms don’t self-maintain & virgo is where the maintenance comes in, of our inner as well as outer kingdom. virgo invites us to make sure we’re getting enough exercise & eating the healthiest food to keep our physical structure viable. it also makes us notice the cobwebs in the corners, the unbalanced checkbook; it makes sure we change the baby’s diapers & take the dog to the vet. yeah, all those mundane to-dos that allow us to pursue what really matters.

hasta means “hand” & this asterism’s shakti is about being able to manifest what we want, put it in our hands & offer it out to the world. it also suggests that we do, in fact, have the whole world in our hands—the ability to create our world. the key is to understand where this power to manifest comes from. it comes from being in alignment with, in right relationship with, our highest purpose. it comes from allowing ourselves to be vehicles for the divine, to be be’ers not do’ers, to surrender & trust in the infinite wisdom of the universe. guess what this means? getting over ourselves! telling our egos to take a hike. b/c otherwise we get too attached to what we create & ya know what happens when we attach too strongly? we suffer! oh, yeah!

it’s the third phase of the waxing moon, which is related to lord vishnu, who is the preserver, the one who makes sure the rain falls so the crops are watered & we can keep living, who does the daily maintenance. the third phase is also related to being flexible, open to new ideas, being able to embrace change. maybe there’s a new way of approaching some of your virgo tasks, a way to put a new spin on them?
