it’s tuesday, september 27, & moon is in libra, in the starspace called chitra. libra vibrates with the frequency of being in relationship, & especially of being in, creating, balance in them, of making sure they’re good for the other party/parties but not at the expense of what’s good for ourself; for libra is represented, in the vedic (as opposed to western, tropical) system not by the scales of justice, but by the scales a merchant would use to make sure payment received is equal to the price of goods being sold. libra invites us to reflect on how much effort we are putting into relationships & whether we are receiving in kind.
libra reminds us that it’s not our job to make other people happy—that’s their problem. our job is to make sure we are happy, b/c when we’re happy it makes other people happy, & it also raises our vibrational frequency, which will influence who comes into our life, who we partner with, whether for romance, business or friendship. as relationship coach lauren zoeller has said, “when you learn to love yourself”—i.e., prioritize your own happiness—”your taste in partners will change.”
chitra is ruled by vishvakarma, the celestial architect, who combined the principles of usefulness & beauty, practicality & art, to craft all sorts of awesome stuff & famously created the chariots & weapons of the gods—which see the vimana (flying chariot that resembled a palace) of the ramayana & indra’s vajra (diamond-like thunderbolt).
