it’s friday, september 2, & moon is in scorpio, in the starspace called vishakha until midday mountain time, then in anuradha. scorpio vibrates with the frequency of our deepest, most unconscious fears, with our emotional vulnerability, the unknown, what we can’t control & is thus out of our comfort zone. it’s where our shadow lives, where our hidden patterns surface, come out to bite us in the you-know-what. our challenge is to be with what comes up, use the grounding of the sign opposite scorpio, earthy taurus, to hold us, provide stability so that we can observe & deepen our awareness of our innermost being & thus begin to heal & come into greater wholeness. “the more we can learn from our emotions, the more we can change—& the deeper we can go into the unknown. & the deeper we go into the unknown, the closer we get to the mystical,” says dr. joe dispenza. or, as brené brown has put it, “only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.”

vishakha, which is ruled by both indra & agni, brings a lesson about not necessarily having to choose between the material & the spiritual, b/c we are spiritual beings living in the material world, having an embodied experience. we can have it all by harmonizing both aspects of ourselves, allowing one to support the other. anuradha is ruled by mitra, the divine friend, & is associated with radha, who was krishna’s most devoted friend. this asterism brings a lesson about being a divine friend, seeing the divine, the beloved, in our people.

it’s the seventh lunar day, the seventh phase of the waxing moon, which is also related to indra, who was the king of the gods but got a little too full of himself. we get to learn from indra’s missteps, own our power but do so with humility.

friday is ruled by venus, who invites us to, yes, see through the eyes of love. for as ram dass observed, “when we see the beloved in each person, it’s like walking through a garden, watching flowers bloom all around us.” & who doesn’t love flowers in bloom?!

& that’s your daily bliss! which is a of lunar weather report. may it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss. may it inspire you to enlighten up a little more each day.
