daily blissit’s wednesday, september 4, & moon is in the starspace called vishakha. most of vishakha is in libra, but the last three-ish degrees are in scorpio & moon will have worked its way across the skyspace of libra by 11 am mountain time & have settled into scorpio, where it will be until late friday afternoon. moon is debilitated in scorpio, which can translate into our losing it emotionally. our task is to turn our breakdowns into breakthroughs. if we can turn our obstacles into opportunities, why not our breakdowns into breakthroughs? so, yeah, have a good cry when [fill in the blank] happens & then pick yourself up before the floodwaters of your tears threaten to drown you & say, “thank goodness—that [fill in the blank] b/c it was so not what i was really looking for; now i can intentionally call in what i really want, what will really serve me & maximizing myself!”

speaking of transformation, of turning one thing (something that seems negative) into another (a positive), vishakha is all about transformation. one way to, um, break down the word “vishakha” is into “visha,” which means “enter,” + “kha,” which means “heaven.” visha + kha = entering heaven. who/what enters heaven, or wants to? us! this is where the soul goes, “hmmm, i think there’s something more to life & i want to find out what that is, i want to elevate my experience beyond what appears limited.” vishakha heralds a change in attitude, a shift in perspective, like the kind that can turn a loss into a win but on a deeper soul level.

it’s the seventh lunar day, which is connected to lord indra (who happens to rule vishakha, along with agni), the king of the gods, so allow yourself to move freely & powerfully through your realm today & act with magnanimity not hubris.

wednesday is ruled by mercury, who is currently duking it out with mars in fiery leo, with the sun nearby adding fuel to the fire. so keep a cool head & count to ten before you use your words or you might end up in an argument you might regret. (does anyone ever not regret arguments?)
