… is our discomfort zone, where we may get to surf some big emotional/psychic waves, &, thanks to ruling planet mars, summons the courage to do so. b/c we know that the bigger the wave, the bigger the opportunity for growth. so we say, “bring it!” or as the bengali poet rabindranath tagore put it:
do not shelter me from danger, o lord;
grant instead that i may stand unafraid.
let not my prayer be for deliverance from sorrow,
but for the heart that can triumph over grief.
if no companion comes to lift me when i fall,
let not my own strength forsake me.
if loss & betrayal darken my path,
let me not surrender to defeat within.
i ask not to be carried across the storm-tossed sea;
give me the courage to navigate its waves.
though my burdens remain heavy upon my shoulders,
grant me the endurance to bear them with grace.
in days bright with fortune & joy,
may i remember your blessings with humility.

… is ruled by indra, who ruled the gods, & brings a lesson about learning to control our own desires, become masters of ourselves to achieve greatness rather than exerting control over others (indra is related to indriyas = our sense organs, through which we satisfy our cravings).
as my little brother used to say to me, “you’re not the boss of me!”

… the seventh phase of the waxing moon, ahhhh, is also ruled by indra. so a double-good day to double down on confidence with a huge dollop of humility, to achieve without getting all up in our heads about it.

… is ruled by jupiter, who is, you might say, our moral compass. he connects us to teachers & teachings that allow us to create a code of ethics & container for our lives, that give it meaning.
it is worth noting, however, that even bank robbers have a code of ethics, even tech bros trying to turn us into robots have a code of behavior, even pete hegseth has a code of ethics.
