it’s tuesday, july 15, & moon moves from aquarius into pisces midday while being supported & transported by the starspace called pūrvabhādra. whereas aquarius is the land of our earthly community/communities, pisces is the land of our cosmic community, of the community that embraces all that is, ever was & ever will be, the infinite as opposed to the finite. aquarius vibrates with the frequency of service, pisces with surrender; the former with selflessness, the latter with Selflessness.

pūrvabhādra can bring lightning flashes of insights &/or inspiration, which can be intense, in a good way, in a transformative way. lightning strikes with only the warning of thunder, if we can hear it, so we have to pay attention, do the practices that facilitate pure presence, hone our precious faculties of attention. do you hear the thunder in the distance? are your doors of perception—is your third eye, ajna chakra—open, ready to see?
it’s the fifth lunar day (tithi), the fifth phase of the waning moon, until late morning, then the sixth, which is a shift from setting our eyes on our goal & solidifying it, dreaming the dream & making it a reality: “build it & they will come.”
tuesday is mars’ day. fiery mars is getting close as close (closest dates july 20-22) to fiery ketu in fiery leo. bursts of anger or frustration, impulsive acts you’ll regret later, inciting conflicts & power struggles are all possible. contain & channel your fire.
bonus track: b/c there’s always more! sun is on the move from gemini into cancer. sun is our soul(ar) battery, & just as when we move house, we unplug from one source of energy before we plug into another, pack up our stuff & have to spend time unpacking it, carting it from one house to another & are neither here nor there for the duration, same-same for sun. so, while sun’s battery is in the red, it’s a good idea to cut ourselves some slack in terms of our doing, focus more on being, on what’s going on inside rather than outside.
