capricorn says all that sagittarian inspiration & insight is awesome, but let’s bring it down to earth lest it float off into space, let’s take some practical action steps, let’s be serious not dreamy. if we didn’t dream we probs wouldn’t build anything, have any goals, so dreams are essential, but it’s time to get real.

how to direct your mental/emotional energy

uttarāṣāḍha is the counterpart to pūrvāṣāḍha—what we began there, we get to complete here, put the finishing, the final touches on. uttara is like the runner in the last leg of a relay race who brings victory to her team. the baton is in your hand!

this nakshatra is ruled by the vishwadevas, the deities who are the collective powers/gifts/talents of the heavens. these gods reside in us, represent our own abilities. we have access to it all & if we feel lacking in a particular area, all we have to do is reach out & ask for help. &, yes, asking for help isn’t always easy but can be a great growth opportunity!

uttarāṣāḍha practically promises that what you start will endure like the pyramids.

what supports your emotional body

the second lunar day (tithi), the second phase of the waning moon, is ruled by goddess bhagamalini, the one who is “garlanded” (malini) with “luck” (bhaga). this tithi supports us with pride, which gives us confidence to pursue whatever we are pursuing.

with uttarāṣāḍha, it is a combo for accomplishment. with wednesday, it is both positive & negative, helps us achieve but not by any means possible—make sure you’re in your integrity!

 

how to align with the weekday’s energy

wednesday is ruled by mercury, who gives us discriminating intelligence, curiosity & the ability/desire to communicate, some of us more, some of us less. with mercury now going through one of his regularly scheduled (he does this three times a year) retrograde periods, it’s an especially good time to pause before we speak or send an email or pick up the phone, to listen more than we talk, which, imo, is always a good practice.
