it’s wednesday, february 14, & moon is in aries, in the starspace called ashwini. aries vibrates with the frequency of being our biggest, bestest, baddest, most authentic selves, & possibly of boldly going where we’ve never gone before—whether that means starting a new project or business or just being, well, bigger & badder than ever. what is stopping you from being all you can be? lack of worthiness or self-esteem? impostor syndrome? as aubrey marcus, one of my fave light workers & wisdom seekers (not to mention fine example of integrated masculinity, & aries is sooooo masculine), shared a while back, if you don’t want to experience impostor syndrome, just keep doing the same shit you’ve always been doing, don’t try anything new, don’t stretch yourself. fear & insecurity just show us our edge. as radhanath swami says, “fear is just an illusion that holds us back from experiencing our potential.” ruling planet mars now in exaltation gives us the courage to overcome our fear, says, “no more excuses!” are you ready to meet & greet your edge, stretch yourself? it’s valentine’s day, so why not show yourself love by believing in you?
ashwini is ruled by the ashwin kumar, twin horse gods who were the forebears of ayurveda, so there is a healing quality to this asterism. horses represent our senses & prana, our vital life force. it is by controlling both, rather than letting them run wild like stallions on the open range, that we get shit done &/or heal from whatever ails us. it’s an especially good day to practice pranayama, which can bring on a greater sense of purpose, direction & intention.
it’s the sixth lunar day (tithi), the sixth phase of the waxing moon, which supports us in manifesting on a material level by giving us the confidence & strength to get ‘er done. wow, there is a lot of confluence today to just do it!
wednesday is ruled by mercury, planet of communication & discriminating intelligence, who is hanging out these days in capricorn with mars & venus, which means there’s a lot of emphasis on our duties & responsibilities. how can you use your mercurial powers to prioritize, create a pecking order for, them, decide which ones are worth continuing to take up, which ones it’s time to give up? who needs to know & how can you communicate with them diplomatically & effectively?
& that’s your daily bliss! which is a sort of lunar weather report. may it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss.
