it’s thursday, february 15, & moon is in aries, in the starspace called bharani. aries creates an entrepreneurial environment. an entrepreneur is “one who organizes, owns, manages, & assumes the risks of a business,” the business in this case being the LLC known as “me.” aries is where we take the business of being all we can be seriously, which usually entails taking risks. someone shared this billboard on IG recently: “the quickest way to succeed is to start now & figure it out as you go. you can’t learn to drive in a parked car.” or, as van gogh said, “i am always doing what i cannot do yet, in order to learn how to do it.” aries is symbolized by a ram, who puts his head down & just goes, ignorant of the potential damage he may cause, figuring that he’ll figure it out as he goes, which can have positive or negative repercussions, can yield success or failure—but if we don’t try, if we sit in “park” forever, we’ll never know!

bharani is ruled by yama, god of death & restraint/limitations, the greatest limitation certainly being death, right? this asterism reminds us that all actions bear fruit—some of it as juicy & delicious as a ripe mango, some like a rotten apple crawling with worms. when you’re learning to drive & you accidentally put the car in reverse when you mean to go forward, you’ll have to deal with the consequences. if, say, you introduce new food to your kitties & your boy’s stomach rejects it, same—you’ll have a mess to clean up.

it’s the seventh lunar day (tithi), the seventh phase of the waxing moon, which gives us self-command, steadiness & courage, & is ruled by indra, who def had all those qualities, but/& also had to learn the quality of humility the hard way. humility is what allows us to apologize when, say, we recklessly charge ahead without looking where we’re going & to learn from our mistakes.

thursday is ruled by jupiter, who gives our life meaning, gives us something to believe in. everyone believes in something, but everyone doesn’t believe in the same thing—otherwise we wouldn’t have wars. it’s a good day to ponder the repercussions of our beliefs, ask ourselves whether they are bearing ripe or rotten fruit.

& that’s your daily bliss! which is a sort of lunar weather report. may it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss.
