it’s friday, march 13, moon is in sagittarius, in the starspace called pūrvāṣāḍhā, it’s the tenth phase of the waning moon & venus’ day.
sagittarius vibrates with the frequency of hope & optimism, gives us faith in ourselves, in our purpose, by giving us faith in something bigger than ourselves, in the universe’s plan for us, in the universe as a benevolent force; it’s where we grok that the universe does have our back. phew!
sag’s ruling planet, jupiter, represents husbands, teachers, wisdom, children, beliefs, gives us a moral compass, & also luck & children. jupiter has been retrograde since november 11, inviting us to reassess these aspects of our life, break free of old patterns, realign with our truth, to patiently wait for answers to arise, & is now slowly moving forward (it takes a while for planets to totally reverse course), in punarvasu.
our patience is being rewarded! punarvasu means “the return of the light” or “good again,” so we should feel good again, should feel the light returning to our life, hopeful & optimistic again, reconnected to our abundance & the abundance of the universe.
what jupiterian area of life having you been mulling over, feeling in limbo about? what answers have you received? how are you going to move forward?
pūrvāṣāḍhā means “early victory,” as in the steps we take to achieve ultimate victory, as in having a plan & following it. no goal is achieved overnight, is one step & done. this nakshatra brings a lesson about honoring that thing inside us that is dying to be born, be brought into the world, that goal our soul needs to fulfill before we leave this planet. what is that for you? what step can you take to get that ball rolling?
“if you bring forth what is within you it will save you. if you do not, it will destroy you.”—stephen cope
the tenth lunar day (tithi), the tenth phase of the waning moon, is connected, like jupiter, to dharma, our soul purpose, what we, and only we, are here to do, our greatest calling.
“when it comes to dharma, missing by an inch is as good as missing by a mile. aim is everything.”—stephen cope
it’s a good day to get our work done &/or get back on track with it, to keep our aim true.
friday is ruled by venus, planet of love & art, who is still in pisces, & will be there until march 25. venus is exalted in pisces—i.e., most intelligent, most powerful. take advantage of this energy to dive into creative endeavors of any & all kinds (paint, write a symphony, redecorate, cook like a michelin-rated chef, start writing that book you’ve always wanted to), to heal or deepen relationships, to take your spiritual practice to the next level.
& that’s your daily bliss! which is a sort of lunar weather report. may it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss.
