… is the star of wealth, of feeling wealthy/abundant in mind & spirit. it is ruled by the ashta vasus, the eight elemental gods who practically guarantee wealth/success … if we follow our unique path, dance to the beat of our own drummer, take bold steps to follow our desires rather than, say, doing what society or our parents or whomever expects of us, would have us do or be.
whose bidding are you doing—your own or someone else’s?
the first lunar day …
… the first phase (tithi) of the waning moon, supports us in understanding our own truth & seeing reality clearly, helps us become more aware of our true desires—& makes sure they are not egotistic ones. the second tithi helps our desire, our intention, grow & prosper as long as it’s not all about self-gratification. it reminds us to not get all up in our head about what we are manifesting & to not be too attached to, say, the wealth & fame it may bring, to not let that be our focus.
jupiter …
… is the guru, who gives us hope by giving us wisdom, teachings that lead to self-awareness, Self (big “s” self) knowledge.

who or what—remember: guru is a principle, not necessarily a person—has sparked or sparks that fire in you? whom or what do you turn to for spiritual inspiration? who or what brings the lessons that help you evolve?
